ISO 100 Protein

Dymatize is a well-established company selling a huge range of supplements, the most well-known of which is its ISO100 brand of hydrolyzed whey. Basically, they take whey isolate, which is already highly refined with very low fat, and take it up a notch by pre-digesting the isolate. They use special enzymes that break down some of the peptide bonds it produces a product that is virtually fat and carb-free. On top of that, because it is “pre-digested”, the amino acids can be absorbed by your body more rapidly.

So why wouldn’t you select a hydrolyzed whey over an isolate? Cost! All that extra processing with special enzymes often comes with a hefty price tag. This makes plain whey isolate a better bang for your buck. What’s different about ISO100 by Dymatize, is that it is pretty darn cheap for a hydrolyzed whey.
